Miss Yorkshire Foundation is a non-profit arm of Miss Yorkshire Beauty Pageant that seeks to undertake the following:

• Educational Scholarship Scheme (Tuition fees)
• Youth Leadership Training & Entrepreneurship Mentoring
• Youth Confidence building and development
• Charitable Fundraising Events The Miss Yorkshire foundation would like to be the largest provider of educational scholarship monies to young women across Yorkshire and Humber Region.

Miss Yorkshire Foundation is an achievement and recognition programme. Entrants in this programme will compete in Scholastic achievement, interview, talent, fitness and self-expression. Scholarships will also be awarded to participants, whether or not they capture the title, based on other criteria like: Community Service, Financial Need, Geographic location, Field of study, Extra-curricular activities.

Miss Yorkshire Scholarship Scheme is an advantageous opportunity when contrasted with the high rate of young people graduating from University burdened by heavy university tuition fees loan debt. The Miss Yorkshire Foundation understands that the challenges of paying for a higher education are becoming increasingly difficult for most families, we want to make sure our programme facilitates opportunities in the Region of Yorkshire. Types of Scholarships: Cash awards and In-kind tuition waivers Cash Awards cover tuition, text books, housing, student debt, and other allowable expenses. An In-kind tuition waiver is a scholarship given in the form of waived tuition fees that the contestant would have otherwise had to pay out of pocket.
